{"id":605,"date":"2021-05-19T10:42:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-19T03:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hidrografi.gd.itb.ac.id\/?page_id=605"},"modified":"2025-08-05T16:48:02","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T09:48:02","slug":"category-a-hydrographic-surveyor-certification","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hidrografi.gd.itb.ac.id\/id\/category-a-hydrographic-surveyor-certification\/","title":{"rendered":"Category A Hydrographic Surveyor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\"><strong>Category A Hydrographic Surveyor<\/strong> is the highest level of international recognition awarded by the International Federation of Surveyors\/International Hydrographic Organization\/International Cartographic Association (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fig.net\/\">FIG<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/iho.int\/\">IHO<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/icaci.org\/\">ICA<\/a>) Advisory Board.  It provides a comprehensive and broad-based knowledge in all aspects of the theory and practice of hydrography and allied disciplines for individuals who will practise analytical reasoning, decision making and development of solutions to non-routine problems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:15px\">In Hydrography ITB, we offer two paths on obtaining the Category A Hydrographic Surveyor Certification, which are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><p style=\"font-size:15px\">Through ITB&#8217;s <strong>Engineering Profession Program<\/strong>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/ditdik-nr.itb.ac.id\/psppi\/\">Program Studi Profesi Insinyur (PS PPI)<\/a>. By the end of this program, students will achieve Category A Certification and the title of &#8216;Insinyur&#8217; (Ir.) from <a href=\"http:\/\/pii.or.id\/\">Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII).<\/a><\/p><\/li><li><p style=\"font-size:15px\">Through a <strong>bundling program<\/strong> with <a href=\"https:\/\/gd.fitb.itb.ac.id\/graduate\/programs\/master\/\">Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering Master&#8217;s Degree<\/a>.
